Expensive Chew Toy Jun 22, 2010
By Savitri Let me first say that my dog loved this pool (as he loves any pool) and it is very easy to set up and store. However, the materials are not in the least dog-proof, which is surprising for a pool for dogs!
After setting up and filling the pool, I delighted in watching my dog romp and splash, jump in and out of the pool and have a great time for over an hour. Then I went inside for a little while. When I returned about twenty minutes later, I beheld lots of card-board pieces and bits of red and blue plastic littering the yard. The sides of this pool are made of a cardboard type material, so if there is a puncture even, the cardboard could get wet and mold. My dog enjoyed tearing this new 'toy' to shreds (probably as much as he enjoyed splashing in it) which was exceedingly easy for him. So, unless your dog is completely uninterested in chewing or even biting down on the side (or you can supervise and not leave your dog unattended even briefly, if he does like to chew) I do not recommend this pool.
My dog weighs around 75 pounds, and can easily lie down in this pool without his body being covered in water (maybe half covered) and his body took up most of the pool when he laid down (I think the lab in the photo is maybe half grown). It's not a very big pool, but it seemed great at first. In the end, this was the most expensive chew toy ever.

It was nice! Aug 05, 2009

It is a very easy pool to set up. My dog (puppy 6mo) loved it! In fact he loved it so much that when I was not looking he ate the side and ripped the bottom. He did enjoy himself though!! For the price I would not buy this again until my pup is older and less rambuncsious. The plastic is just to thin for sharp teeth. But I can see an older dog enjoying this pool!

Great pool May 22, 2009
By Sheila H. Harley This is a great pool. It's well made, sturdy and very easy to set up. I love it and I'm sure my Jack Russells will too. You can watch them trying to determine whether water is fun or not at

The dog pool is great. My dog is older and has trouble with his hips--he likes to float.

Excellent dog pool Aug 03, 2009

This is an excellent pool for our Labrador Retriever. The picture of the ad looks very much like our Tiger and he loves it. The pool is easy to fold up and move, easy to drain, and is made of very durable materials. All in all a great pool.
